Wind and Idiots

Last weekend was my 1st race of the season and is was a tough one. On Saturday L'Esprit was taking place, but with 25-30mph winds and 37 the high and snow showers going on I opted out. The Jingle decided to go and busted the 4/5 pack the rode through the 3/4 pack. It's time for and upgrade. As you can see from the pic it looked cold.

On Sunday I ventured out to the Froze toes race that was postponed from a week ago because of weather. the temps were in the mid 40's with only 15 mile winds for 62 miles of fun. I got the bright idea to get in the secondary break for about 35 miles with just 3 other guys.....it hurt a lot.
Yep that is me in the center of that group just hanging out. It was also before I got the bright Idea to get in the break.
My gripe of the week is for those num-nuts who put on races and think that they are doing us a favor...I hate to tell you this but I AM THE ONE who is PAYING the money and that would make me the CUSTOMER and if you want me to come back you had better treat me like I am a customer. with the number of races that there are in the mid-west now I can pick and choose where I go and still race a lot. As racers we should force promoters to do a better job of putting on races.....remember we are paying to do this.
Oh well see ya at the races. My next shipment of the STUFF is on the way from Dr. Fuentes.
